A blitz of the Core of Tax Police of the Guardia di Finanza of Bari in the province of Brescia has dismantled a dangerous gang of Albanian drug traffickers based in Bari and branches in Northern Italy. The operation is part of Gico investigations of the Guardia di Finanza of Bari, coordinated by the Directorate of the District Anti-Mafia Prosecutor's Office as a result of another large seizure of drugs work in Bari, where the organization had its basis. The financiers of Gico (Organized Crime Investigation Group), in collaboration with colleagues of the Tax Police Unit of Brescia and the Lieutenancy of Salò, coordinated by the two Prosecutors, have identified a cell that operated in a town of Brescia hinterland by importing from Albania large amounts of marijuana. Investigators have thus reconstructed drug tafficking routes coming to the referent group of albanians in Italy: ME, 30 years. This morning followed an Italian who was preparing to remove the substance from a local in the province of Brescia.
The financiers came and they searched the place finding inside 560 pounds of marijuana. In addition to albanian was arrested on an Italian citizen: PA, 36 years. The Gico of Bari had seized another 64 kilograms of marijuana in the days leading to other locations in North arresting five others, one Italian and four albanians.
