The Greens push for further discussion on combating corruption

by kleinezeitung

The Greens (the German party) push for further discussion on combating corruption. "The goal would be to set and propose some new laws and amendments against corruption, according to the letter written by the deputy chairman Klubobmann Kogler  to the leaders of four other parliamentary parties. The invitation provides an appointment in early May.
He demands to organise soon a meeting in order to create a roadmap for new anti-corruption provisions and reporting requirements and to promote content initiative. Kogler observes, in his letter that was delivered on weekends to parliamentary parties, that after the "medialaunch anti-corruption" by Justice Minister Bandion-Ortner early April, there have been, however, no initiative of the SPÖ and ÖVP. The Greens are still waiting for a reply.
