According to the prosecutor, one of the indictments accuses Šarić and another ten suspects of smuggling 1.1 tons of cocaine which was seized in Brazil in 2008.

He added that some of the suspects were already on trial for smuggling 2 tons of cocaine from Argentina.

Radisavljević stressed that the second indictment accused Šarić and four members of his group of laundering money acquired through cocaine trafficking by participating in privatizations in Serbia.

Šarić is on the run and Interpol has issued a red notice for his arrest. He is tried in absentia, both for the cocaine smuggling from Argentina and money laundering.
