Project ECHO is a project funded by the EU Commission in the context of the promotion of active citizenship and legality and the use of new media in social activism in the EU.
FLARE Network acts as applicant. Associations RadioKreattiva (Italy), Mafia? Nein, Danke! (Germany) and Suncokret Pula (Croatia) are partners of the project.
The project foresees the realization of two different tools:
1. The creation and management of a news-observatory. The news and contents collected and edited by the project partners are posted on Project ECHO home page. Such contents refer to different thematics, all included in four topics: "active citizenship and legality", "organised crime", "information and counter-information", "new media in social activism".
2. The production of two videos per each project partner, totalling six videos. One of the videos' thematics - common to all partners - is focused on the perception among the population of the diffusion and infiltration of organised crime in each territory. The second video is focused on specific thematics, perceived as urgent or specific in each territory.
