The tour is a set of free-entrance performances with music and dances dedicated to the fight against corruption and organised crime.
Stara Zagora, Varna, Rousse, Dobrich, Sofia and Bourgas are the Bulgarian cities that FLARE is going to visit in March 2011 throughout the Legality Tour.
The tour is a set of performances of free-access (no entry fee) with music and dances dedicated to the fight against corruption and organised crime. In each of the cities local youth organisations, students councils, authorities and FLARE represent the core team of organisers.
The main guest celebrities are Teddy and Tenny, a popular duet, who has topped MTV Nigeria and MTV Norway as well as been awarded in national contests. The two (one of them Bulgarian, the other of African origin) were inspired to record a song entitled “Corruption” impressing young people to refrain from the dark side of corruption.
Along with the fascinating youth-friendly video, the piece of music is the Bulgarian participation in the Global Anti-Corruption Music Contest organised by the World Bank and the newly Global Youth Anti-Corruption Network. Thereby, the song is also a national cause around which local talents and institutional partners are unifying to promote the alternative role model – making a living through honesty and continuous efforts rather than bribes and crimes. You can vote for Teddy and Tenny's song at www.anticorruptionmusic.org during the whole month of March.
The winners will be annouced on 01 April andwill win professional recording as well as a worldwide publicised performance in Nairobi, Kenya at the end of the next month. FLARE will keep you informed about the outcomes of the Legality Tour. Photos and videos will follow.
