Bulgaria: ECHO2 against human trafficking
The second meeting of ECHO2 project takes place in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. Human trafficking and the fight against it is the topic that involves over 40 people from 7 countries.
Echo 2 is aimed at fostering a dynamic networking for the European citizenship through the promotion of legality as a key value of active citizenship, thanks to the diffusion of new technologies.
A young generation of volunteers and university students from different countries and local contexts will be the protagonists of ECHO 2: they will be supported in the creation of web spaces and tools for spreading information, by means of video, interviews and street animation, making them able to carry on diffused awareness-raising actions by means of new technologies.
The core of the training activities is represented by the use of cheap, common-use equipment (small video/photo cameras, smartphones, etc.) in place of expensive, professional equipment in creating multimedia content.
