Workshops, projections and debates on organised crime
Four workshops, nine video-enquiries and debates with experts form the contents of a two-day programme within the Ilaria Alpi Television Journalism Award in Riccione, Italy.
During the Ilaria Alpi Television Journalism Award, four workshops focused on international organised crime are taking place in Riccione, Italy, on June 16-17 2011. The workshops are part of Project EST, a project by Associazione Ilaria Alpi in partnership with FLARE Network and the Romanian Centre of Investigative Journalism.
The four workshops are centered upon three specific thematics: money laundering, corruption and European countermeasures. A focus is open to the trafficking of waste, the illegal construction building sector, the level of corruption within local institutions, and juridical countermeasures in place.
