Journalists under escort: information, press and mafia
The FLARE member Mafia? Nein, Danke!, in partnership with the Heinrich-Böll Foundation and the Humboldt University organises on Monday 18th April 2011 in Berlin a panel discussion with the title Journalists Under Escort. The event will take place at the Department of Roman Studies of the Humboldt Univeristy at 19.00.
The event belongs to the series of discussions Women&Mafia, organised every year by Mafia? Nein, Danke!
Panelists include Petra Reski, German author and journalist at Die Zeit, who will talk about the right to inform and being informed and the strict German system of privacy protection; Francesca Viscone, Italian journalist at Il Fatto Quotidiano, who will deepen the problems faced by investigative journalists in Italy; Laura Garavini, Italian MP involved actively in antimafia both in Germany and Italy.
